This is the way to Titus Canyon in Death Valley. We left at 7 in the morning and reached the dirt road at 9 am. We had heard from other people that this is really a great place to go see. And it is!There was a dusting of snow on the mountains ahead, but we thought nothing of it.
We reached the top, we thought, and it was beautiful. About 5200 ft here. What a view !!
We went around a bend in the road and
holy crap we said! Across the valley is the road we have to take. Oh, did I mention? The road is one way....No turning back !! We put our seat belts on.
